High Lodge 10k Guided Trail Run - October

The event is a guided trail run over a distance of 10 km at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, Brandon, Suffolk, IP27 0AF. Runs are led at a conversational pace and participants are placed in groups with runners of similar ability; attendees may need to run at a slower pace than usual.

Terrain includes hard-packed trails and single-track woodland paths. The route is mostly flat with a couple of small hills; guidance and tips on tackling hills and on trail running technique are provided during the session. The location offers opportunities to observe woodland wildlife.

The session allows up to two hours, with actual duration depending on the abilities of the group. Trail shoes are recommended, though road shoes are acceptable if needed. Participants are advised to bring at least 500 ml of water and any snacks they require.
