Harvest Trail Running Festival
The Harvest Trail Running Festival takes place on October 31, 2026, at The Onion Shed in Farmersville, TX. The event uses the Chaparral Trail and runs on dirt and gravel out-and-back paths. The course is described as flat and fast, with about 130 feet of elevation change over a 15.5 mile out-and-back section.

This is a no-cup event; participants must carry a water-carrying system. A 16-ounce minimum is required for all events except the 5K. Ruck rules specify a 30 lb ruck for participants over 150 lbs and a 20 lb ruck for those under 150 lbs; ruck sacks or vests are allowed.
Aid stations are located at set mile points and include hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice. A separate water-only station is also listed. Drop bags may be placed near the start/finish area.
Packet pickup is available on the days before the race. Parking is first come, first served in designated areas at Rike Field with overflow at the J.W. Spain Complex. No overnight camping is offered.
