The route is an out-and-back over paved and crushed-stone surfaces, crossing bridges and passing prairies and farmland under a tree canopy. Course difficulty is rated 1 - flat/fast with little elevation change on non-technical terrain.
Aid stations are positioned along the course (0.0, 1.5, 5.7, 9.7, 13.9, 15.4 miles) and offer basic first aid, electrolytes, Crazy Water, and snacks; some stations may be unmanned. The event is cupless - participants should bring refillable water bottles for refills at aid stations. Registration remains open until the start of each distance unless the race is sold out.
