Hartside Hill SOL is a Scottish Orienteering League event on Sunday 7 September 2025, held in Hartside Hill, a new orienteering area near the Soutra Pass just off the A68. The forest is a large plantation with deep cleughs, varied rides, and an extensive ditch network, offering challenging navigation and route choices. Courses cater to all abilities, from White (1.6 km) up to Black (10.5 km with 410 m climb), including Yellow, Orange, Red, and multiple Green and Blue variants. Parking is limited, so car sharing from Pathhead is encouraged. Late entry surcharge applies; members may access discounted rates via ELO.
