HARP24 2026

HARP24 is a 24 hour running event at Cherry Orchard Country Park, Rochford on June 27, 2026. Participants run solo, as a pair, or in teams of up to 12, covering as many laps as they choose of an 8 km route through the Essex countryside. There is no set distance to complete; runners may rest between laps and return to the course during the 24 hour period.

The event is organised as a charity fundraiser to support work to end homelessness in Essex. Entry options include a reduced charity fee with a suggested fundraising pledge of £100 and a standard entry option. The minimum participant age is 16. Onsite facilities include toilets and showers free for competitors, food trucks, camping from Friday night, and chip timing with live leaderboards. Dogs on leads are permitted on the route and in the camping area under supervision. Participants can defer an entry once without a fee under normal circumstances. The event also provides a goody bag, medal, branded T shirt, access to an event WhatsApp group, and invitations to organised group training runs. An off-road measured 5K at Westley Heights Country Park, Race 3 of the seven-event Crown to Crown series, run mainly on bridleways with basic race services and TRA licensing.

A trail event at Colemans Fishery in Rivenhall on 14 Jun 2026 offering two route choices of about 6.5 or 4.2 miles. Entry fees are non-refundable and proceeds go to Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust.

Round 3 is a 5k trail race at Langdon Discovery Nature Park on 16 June 2026, run as two laps of a 2.5k circuit. The event is for ages 12 and over, supports local charities and provides on-the-day entries at the same price as online.

A low-key Category A fell race inside the M25 held on 19 June 2026, with multiple climbs around Yardley Valley and a finish on Pole Hill overlooking the Lea Valley. Entry is via SPOND and carries a £5 fee.
