Event Information

The Happy Coastal - Reservoir Run takes place at Happy Valley Reservoir in Happy Valley, South Australia. This is the fifth year of this event, which uses part of the reservoir's new 20-kilometre trail network opened to the public in December 2021. The trails travel along the water's edge, through pine forests, native flora, and open grassy areas.

Distances and Fees

Three running distances are offered:

  • 7 km for A$22.00
  • 14 km for A$28.00
  • 21.1 km for A$35.00

A Virtual Run option is also available for A$25.00.

All participants receive a race bib and a finisher medal. Registration includes part proceeds to the ACRF (Australian Childhood Cancer Research Foundation). The event has a "Happy" theme, and a trophy is awarded to the person who best represents this theme, as voted by runners and volunteers.

Logistics

The event starts from the Chandlers Hill Road car park gates. Bib collection and check-in open on race morning. Gates to the site do not open until 7:30 AM. The event is closed on Total Fire Ban days and for operational activity.
