Hanson's 3 Mile Summer Cross Country Series
This is a two-race summer cross country series organized by Hanson's Running Shop. Each race covers 3 Miles and takes place at outdoor park venues: Race 1 at Stony Creek Metropark Oak Grove Picnic Area - North Pavilion, and Race 2 at River Bends Park, 22 Mile Entrance. Registration opens June 8 and closes July 31. The registration fee is $10 and covers entry to both races. Participants already enrolled in the Hanson's Cross Country High School or Middle School Summer Camp have the series included with their camp registration.
Check-in is located under the pavilion at the venue. Results are posted during each event and an age group award ceremony follows each race. Awards are presented to first place in every age group, with single year age groups through 18 and the following adult ranges: 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
