Hankley Common 10km : guided trail run

This is a guided trail run of 10km that starts and finishes at Hankley Common, Elstead, Surrey. The route visits local points of interest including a replica section of the Atlantic Wall in an area known as the Lion's Mouth. The location is an active MOD training area and is noted for wildlife and for use in film and television productions. Events have been scheduled on multiple dates between 2020 and 2026.

Logistics and participant information

The run is led by an experienced trail and ultra runner who is also a coach and brand ambassador. It is run as a group rather than a race; participants should be able to sustain an average pace of 10 min/miles | 6 min/km on trail for prolonged periods. A full kit list is provided in advance. Silva headtorches and Salomon trail shoes are available to trial on the run, and Silva torches are supplied for testing. Hankley Common is accessible by car, just off the A3, and a car park is available. The stated cost in the event listing is £16 per person.
