PHOENIX Fridays - Run for a Tenner Friday takes place on Friday 17 April 2026 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey. Course, format and medals

The course is an out-and-back riverside towpath route with a single lap of 5.3 km (3.28 miles). The surface is off-road trail along the river and the organiser states the overall course has no elevation gain or loss. The event is timed and participants may complete as many laps as they wish within the event time limit of seven hours. The minimum distance recorded is 3.28 miles. All participants, both attended and virtual, receive a memento; the Run for a Tenner charity runs use a double-sided Rays of Sunshine medal. A 10 km trail race at Marlow Rugby Club on May 25, part of the Ales & Trails series, featuring trails, woodland and Thames towpath. Entry includes a medal, a Rebellion pint cup and a free drink at the finish.

A timed Friday event on a flat 5.3 km out-and-back course along the river Thames, with lap-based distances from 5 km to ultra and a £10 Run for a Tenner entry benefiting Rays of Sunshine.
