Grit & Grind Trail Race

The Grit & Grind Trail Race, presented by Arc'teryx, will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Camp Fortune in Gatineau Park. The event offers several distances: a **2 km** kids race for ages 7-12, **5 km**, **10 km**, and a new **20 km** distance for 2026. The 2 km kids course is described with gentle hills and wide trails. The 5 km route includes quick climbs, sharp descents, and technical turns.

The 10 km route features rolling climbs, punchy descents, and mixed terrain. The new 20 km course consists of two loops with steep climbs, technical descents, and flowing singletrack. This 20 km distance is also a UTMB Index race. A Green Bib option is available, where a portion of the registration fee is donated to the charity partner Sauvetage Bénévole Outaouais – Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue (SBO-OVSAR).

Standard registration includes a commemorative medal, a personalized race bib, professional chip timing, and post-race snacks. The event is not suitable for strollers or mobility devices.
