BougeBouge Gatineau – Trail Run

The BougeBouge Gatineau trail run will take place on June 7, 2026, starting from Collège Saint-Alexandre, located at 2425 Rue Saint-Louis in Gatineau.

The event offers several trail distances: 1 km, 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 35 km. The courses are currently being finalized and some distances may change or be added. The organizers describe the event as the only trail race in the heart of Gatineau offering long distances, combining nature and the city. Timing is provided by the company Sportstats.

Several services will be available on-site: one or more refreshment stations on the course, chemical toilets near the start, and a free bike parking area. There is no bag check. Vehicle parking is available in lots P-3 and P-4 of the Asticou Center, but vehicle movement will be blocked during the running events. Participants will receive a finisher's prize at the finish line, which can vary (cap, toque, bandana, keychain, t-shirt). Photographers will publish a photo album of the event on BougeBouge's Facebook page. A podium and award ceremony is scheduled for the first three men and women in each distance.

Registration includes a platform fee of $2.95 + 3% of the transaction, plus GST and QST. Race tickets are non-refundable unless cancelled by the organizer. Bib transfers are free during the bib pick-up period. Bib and optional souvenir medal pick-up will mainly occur the day before, on May 6, 2026, at a location to be defined.

The BougeBouge organization is a non-profit founded by Olympic triathlete Kathy Tremblay. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
