SUNRISE TRAILS

SUNRISE TRAILS takes place at P4 Old Chelsea Picnic Area in Gatineau Park and is organized by Ottawa Free Fitness. The event is free and open to participants of all ages, paces and fitness levels.

Distance options include:

12 km trail run
6 km hike on trails

The route uses trails 1 and 6 and may include trail 8. The planned duration is about two hours and the event runs rain or shine. Leashed dogs are permitted.

Organizers recommend a hydration pack, healthy snacks and appropriate trail running or hiking gear. A change of socks and shoes is recommended for after the activity. Post-adventure drinks will take place at Les Saisons Cafe, 232 Chem. Old Chelsea, Chelsea QC J9B 1J3.

Primary parking is P4 at 15 Chemin Kingsmere. Additional parking is available at the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre, about a five minute walk away. Registration is free and participation requires acceptance of the Eventbrite waiver. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
