Sunrise Trails offers an outdoor gathering at Gatineau Park, meeting at P11 O'Brien near Meech Lake on Sunday, May 31, 2026. The activity takes place on Trail 36 and runs for about two hours. Registration is free.

Two route options are offered:

10 km trail run
5 km hike on trail

The event proceeds rain or shine. Parking at P11 is free. Leashed dogs are allowed on site but are not permitted on the beach. Participants are advised to carry a hydration pack, healthy snacks and appropriate trail running or hiking gear. A towel and change of clothes are recommended for those who wish to swim in Meech Lake, and bringing a change of socks and shoes for afterward is suggested.

A post-activity meetup is planned at Les Saisons Cafe, 232 Chemin Old Chelsea, Chelsea QC J9B 1J3. Participation requires acceptance of an Eventbrite waiver and acknowledgement of the inherent risks of outdoor physical activity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
