The Race

The Grit & Grind Trail Series is a trail running event held on the evening of Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Two distances are offered: a 5 km course and a 2 km kids run. The 2 km run is for children aged 5 to 12, who are expected to follow the marked course independently. The 5 km course features steep climbs and fast descents.

Practical Information

Standard registration for the 5 km includes a personalized race bib, a commemorative medal, professional chip timing, and post-race snacks and beverages. A Green Bib option allows participants to forgo the medal; a portion of the registration fee is then donated to a charity partner. A technical race shirt and an iTab ribbon hanger are available as optional add-ons. Registration fees vary by category. Online registration closes on Sunday, July 26 at 11:59pm.

For safety reasons, headphones, hiking poles, and strollers are not permitted on the course. The event is not suitable for strollers or mobility devices. Participants still on the course at 8:10 pm will be directed to the finish line. The exact course routes and bib pick-up location are to be announced.
