Grit & Grind Trail Race: Dunrobin Edition

The event takes place Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Sheila McKee Park, 1730 Sixth Line Road, north of Riddell Drive. It is a trail race that moves off pavement onto natural terrain.

The course is flat overall but includes roots, dirt, rocks and uneven ground that require attention. The route is clearly marked. Routes are to be announced and may be subject to change.

Registration includes a commemorative Grit & Grind Trail Race medal unless choosing the Green Bib, a personalized race bib for entries registered before July 20, professional chip timing, and post-race snacks and beverages. The Green Bib does not include a medal and directs a portion of the fee to Camp Misquah, the event charity. Camp Misquah is a non-profit residential summer camp for youth and adults with developmental disabilities in the Ottawa region.

Fees listed are 5K Adult: $78.74 + HST, 5K Youth (ages 12-24): $28.13 + HST, Kids 2K (ages 5-12): $16.88 + HST. Race bib pickup is Saturday, July 25, 12:00 pm–4:00 pm at Euro-Sports, 13 Bullman St, Ottawa, and Wednesday, July 29 beginning at 5:30 pm at Sheila McKee Park. For safety, headphones, hiking poles and strollers are not permitted on course. The event is not suitable for strollers or mobility devices. True singletrack trail racing at Camp Fortune near Ottawa with 3K, 5K and 10K options. Courses are well marked, have no cutoff time and post race hospitality is provided at the lodge.
