Blackburn Fun Run
The Blackburn Fun Run is held as part of the Blackburn Funfair, a community tradition since 1971. The event takes place on Sunday, June 7, on the fairgrounds at the Blackburn Park Soccer Field (190 Glen Park Dr).
Distances offered:
- 1 km cross country
- 2 km cross country
There is no 5 km option this year. Routes use grass and uneven surfaces, so strollers are permitted with that in mind. The course is well marked and marshals are on site to guide participants. The event is self timed. All registered participants receive a finisher medal and there are post event refreshments. Early online registration is available until June 7. Same day registration is possible and accepts cash only.
Parents may run with young children, but only registered participants receive a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
