Event Overview

The Green Park Viking Dash takes place in Saint Louis, Missouri, starting and ending at Green Park Lutheran School. This community event supports the school's Viking Village and features two distinct distances for participants to choose from:

  • 5k Run/Walk
  • 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

The 5k course follows a scenic route through the surrounding neighborhood and includes a section on Grant's Trail. The 1 Mile Fun Run is held within the nearby neighborhood. Both courses are designed to accommodate participants moving at their own pace.

Awards and Recognition

Every participant who finishes their race receives a medal. Furthermore, individual awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers. First-place awards are also distributed within specific age categories ranging from 10 and under to 60 and over.

On-site amenities include packet pickup and registration on the morning of the event. On-site parking is available at the school, and the organizers may provide additional parking with shuttle service if necessary. Participants who register by March 15 are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
