The Great Trailhead Foot Race 10 Miler

The Great Trailhead Foot Race is a trail running event at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado. The event offers two distances: a 5-mile and a 10-mile race. The course features single-track and dirt trails with views of the Denver skyline. The 10-mile event consists of two laps of the same course.

The race starts and finishes at the Pelican Point picnic shelter. Registration includes admission to Bear Creek Lake Park for the day. All participants receive a gender-specific t-shirt. Finishers of the 10-mile race receive a commemorative mug.

A post-run gathering is included. This provides food such as hot dogs, chips, protein bars, bananas, and non-alcoholic beverages. Participants aged 21 and over with valid identification can receive complimentary beer.
