Great Bear Trail Races

Great Bear Trail Races is a Sioux Falls, South Dakota trail running series held in the Great Bear Recreation Area. The annual TRS offers 3-mile and 6-mile routes, plus a free kids race. The loops traverse a 220-acre park featuring wide gravel and single-track trails, forested hills, open prairie, and a 450-foot elevation gain.

The course starts and finishes near the bottom of the bunny hill on the west side of the chalet. Races are chip-timed by 605 Running Company, with a shift away from swag toward a $20 gift card to 605 Running Company. No dogs; prizes include overall and age-group awards.
