Gravel Rocks Trail Running 2026 : Duncombe Park

Gravel Rocks is a multi-day, multi-sport enduro-style event held at Duncombe Park in the North York Moors. The event combines off-road trail running and gravel riding with a festival environment centred on an event village and campsite.

Entry fees include Friday and Saturday nights' camping and campervan pitches, showers, toilets, a timing chip, talks from industry brands, and access to the Friday night run and the chosen Saturday route. Food vendors, a coffee barista and a licensed bar are available on site. Supporters attending only to watch may enter free.

The event features timed segments along the routes. Some segments are held on Friday night and the precise locations of timed sections are revealed only as participants progress on the route. Feed stations are provided on the Saturday routes. The event centre hosts live music and a DJ on Saturday night alongside an on-site bar and local entertainment.

A single-loop 10.5 km trail at Rudding Park, Harrogate, over mixed and hilly terrain with technical sections and a final climb. The race supports Mind in Harrogate and includes a post-race goody bag, food and on-site entertainment.

A guided, socially paced 14 mile trail run around Thornton-le-Dale in the North York Moors, limited to small groups of six. The route crosses streams and hamlets and includes an optional post-run drink and local food.

An 8.5 mile fell race around Glaisdale Rigg with about 1850 ft of ascent, a steep green-lane descent off Snowdon Nab and a finish at the Arncliffe Arms. Limited to 100 runners and part of the Esk Valley Fell Summer series.

A 5k obstacle event at Stewart Park in Middlesbrough with mud obstacles on tarmac and grass paths passing the Captain Cook Birth Place Museum. Waves run every 15 minutes and participants must be 13 or older.
