Goliath's 50 takes place at Shaffer Bend Recreation Area in Marble Falls on February 20, 2027, and is part of the Texas Legends Series. The event uses equestrian trails with surfaces of dirt, sand and rock and includes multiple looped courses named Equine, Lakeview, Turkey and Homestead. Elevation is shown as about 590 ft per 10 mile loop, described as rolling hills.

Aid is provided from the main aid station at the start/finish and at loop points for the 10 mile and 5K loops. Aid station supplies include hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice and ice. No drop bags will be shipped because of the short loops. Pacers are allowed for the last two laps of the 50 mile event.
Equipment and rules noted on site include a required water carrying system (minimum 16 ounces except for 5K and 10K), headlamps for night running in the 50K and 50 mile events, and ruck weight requirements based on participant weight. Parking is limited and available along the road near the start/finish area. Finishers receive a medal and top finishers receive trophies for each distance.
