Event overview
The 17th Annual Gobbler Gallop Trail Run/Walk takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Saginaw, Michigan at 3495 Midland Road. The event includes the following distances:
- 1 Mile Youth Run
- 5k Run
- 5k Walk
The 5k course is a single loop on a wooded trail along the Tittabawassee River. The 1 Mile Youth Run is a single loop in the back of the park.
Entry and logistics
Online registration fees change by date: $5 until October 31, $10 from November 1 through November 22, and $20 from November 23 through November 25. Race day registration is available at the pavilion and costs $20. Race shirts can be added for an extra $10; shirts are not guaranteed after November 1. Pre-race bib and shirt pick up is scheduled for November 26 at the local running store.
The race is an accurately measured, timed event with posted results. There are no age group awards. Custom finisher medals are awarded to the top five finishers per gender in each race. Individual male and female winners of each event receive either a pumpkin or an apple pie. All proceeds benefit the Hawks Running Club LLC.
