Glamaig Hill Race - 26

The Glamaig Hill Race is the David Shepherd Memorial hill run held on Skye, starting from Sligachan Hotel. The course distance is 4.5 miles with approximately 2500 feet of ascent. The event is scheduled for 11 July 2026 and is organised by Skye and Lochalsh Running Club.

The race is classed as a short Category A hill race. Competitors are required to wear or carry windproof full body cover; in adverse weather the organiser may require waterproof full body cover to be worn or carried. Entry fee is £5 with limited entry on the day.

The Race Dunvegan will take place in Dunvegan from Saturday 20 March 2027 to Monday 22 March 2027. You can run between 5 and 10 kilometers.

A 125 km, three-stage coastal mountain ultramarathon on the remote Knoydart Peninsula with base camp at Longbeach, Inverie. Solo or team entry options, tent accommodation, GPS tracking and checkpoint support; places limited to 90.
