Galloping Grind 10K

Boreham, United Kingdom • 23 Aug 2026

The 4th Galloping Grind 10k trail run

The event is a 10 km trail race held on 23 August 2026 on the original, predominantly anti-clockwise route. A TRA permit number is listed as TBC. Non TRA or UKA members pay a £2 levy.

Participants will receive a start list and race information by email before the event. The emailed materials include race number details, maps and a course narrative. Carrying a mobile phone with ICE information is compulsory. Race numbers must be worn on the front, unfolded, and clearly visible; manual timing may be used so a visible number is required for a recorded finish time.

Facilities and on-course arrangements include limited onsite parking with marshals directing parking, encouragement of car-sharing, and a suggestion to cycle to the venue. A tail jogger will sweep the course and a finish line timer will be in use. After completing the run and having their time recorded, participants can hand in their race number at the horsebox to claim finishers coffee and cake.

A limited edition event T-shirt is included in the entry fee; ordering earlier increases the chance of getting the desired size. Results will be posted to the organiser's website within 48 hours. Total places are listed as 30 and the event status is open. Course record times from 2025 are 57m14s and 41m17s. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
