The Funest 50k at Carter Rd is a trail race held on April 18, 2026, in Mulberry, Florida. The event offers three distances:

The race is based at Loyce E. Harpe Park, 300 W Carter Rd, Mulberry, FL 33860. The course uses the park's mountain bike trails and is limited to 100 runners for the 10k, 30k and 50k.

Course and logistics

The course is a 10k loop. The 30k is three laps and the 50k is five laps. Trails run through an old phosphate mine area and consist of sand and dirt with rolling hills and many turns. The route is marked with over 600 markers. There is an aid station around the 3.5 mile point and electrolytes, soda and water available at the start area. A 10 hour cut-off is noted (equivalent to a 19:20 minute per mile pace).

Entries, awards and services

Finishers receive socks, a finisher sticker and an award. Prizes are listed for the top three overall men and women and for first masters men and women. Ten dollars from each registration is designated for Polk County Parks and Recreation. Food is planned at the start/finish area.
