Course and purpose
The races take place on trails at LLELA, a natural area undergoing restoration and conservation. LLELA, the University of North Texas, and the City of Lewisville are involved in restoring native plants, trees, and animal habitats in and around the site.
Entry, fees and other details
Entry fees listed for some distances are: 26.2 mi $103, 13.1 mi $88, 10k $72, 5k $52, and the youth 1-mile $10. Every racer receives event swag; March 18 is the deadline to receive a shirt. A referral program offers cash back incentives (example: up to $25 when three referrals register, and additional up to $25 after five more referrals); referral amounts and eligibility may vary and are not valid on youth races.
