Panther City Ultra

Panther City Ultra is a trail running event at Marion Sansom Park in Fort Worth, TX. The event offers multiple distances and is limited to 300 runners.

Distances:

  • 50K - five loops
  • 25K - three loops
  • 10K - two loops
  • 5K - one loop

The course uses natural, unpaved paths with rocky sections, elevation changes, and occasional steep climbs and descents near river and waterfall areas. The 5K includes some pavement and a less technical route; the 10K includes more elevation and technical terrain.

There are two full aid stations located on course and at the start/finish. Aid station supplies include drinks, sodas, sweets, salty snacks, PB&Js and other warm foods, fruit, and medical supplies (no NSAIDs). The event is cupless; aid stations do not provide disposable cups, so participants must use reusable cups, bottles, or hydration packs. Drop bags can be left at the main aid station and the other aid station.

Packet pickup is available the day before and the morning of the event at Trailhead Running Supply and at the start/finish pavilion. All finishers receive medals and swag; shirts or a trucker hat are offered. Awards are given by distance with Open and Masters categories. Volunteer shifts vary and include event benefits.
