Tactical Obstacle Racing in Fort Worth

The Terrain Race in Dallas Fort Worth takes place at the Village Creek Motocross Park. This event focuses on physical challenges integrated into the natural landscape, featuring mud and various structural hurdles. Participants can expect a variety of obstacles scattered throughout the course, including walls, ropes, and monkey bars.

The event offers two distinct distances:

  • 5k Race: A course of approximately 3 miles featuring over 15 obstacles.
  • Mini Monkey Run: A half-mile course designed specifically for children.

The 5k Race is open to participants aged 14 and older to run individually, while children aged 7-13 may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Mini Monkey Run is intended for children aged 2-10, and parents are permitted to accompany them on the course at no additional cost.

The venue features a festival area where attendees can find music, food vendors, and sponsor interactions. Following the race, finishers receive a commemorative shirt, a medal, and a racing bib. Packet pickup is available the day before the event at the venue, or on the morning of the race for a small cash fee. Gear check services are provided on-site for a fee, and parking at the venue may require a cash payment of up to $20. Spectators are permitted to attend and access the festival area free of charge.
