Wolfdog Trail

The Wolfdog Trail takes place at the Trinity Trails Taylor Street Trailhead at Panther Island in Fort Worth. This event offers participants a trail running experience within the city, featuring a course located along the Trinity River. The terrain consists primarily of grass on a jeep track, with some sections of gravel, asphalt, and concrete.

Available distances include:

  • 5K (one loop)
  • 10K (two loops)

The course is designed as an easy loop cross-country style track that includes three climbs per loop. Participants receive chip timing, a custom full-color bib, and a finisher's medal. Full-color T-shirts are provided to those who register by the specified deadline in late April.

The race site provides water at the far end of the course, as well as water, sports drinks, and snacks at the start and finish lines. Recognition and gifts are awarded to male and female age group winners across various categories ranging from ages 10 to over 80. Gift cards are also presented to overall winners in the Under-40, Masters, and Senior Masters divisions. Proceeds from the event benefit the Twin Rivers Wolf and Wolfdog Sanctuary.
