Frozen Assets Endurance Run

Frozen Assets Endurance Run is a winter trail race scheduled for January 2, 2027 in Springwater, NY at Harriet Hollister Spencer State Recreation Area. The course is an approximately 10k loop that starts and finishes in the park parking lot. The route follows mostly winding single-track trails blazed for the S6 Endurance Mountain Bike Race, and the exact distance may change based on trail and weather conditions.

The event is the first race in the Common Ground Winter Trail Series, produced by FarFetched Enterprises in collaboration with Goose Adventure Racing and Doody Runs. Series registration offers short, medium, and long options and includes benefits such as free entry into the Go Forth! event, series swag, and entry into a random draw for membership in the FarFetched Mug Club, which includes a 24 fl oz mug crafted by Wizard of Clay.

Participants should expect winter conditions and the possible presence of snow. Snowshoes are not permitted, Nordic ski trails should be avoided when groomed, and snowmobiles have right of way at crossings. There are no aid stations on course; runners must carry their own water and fuel. At the start/finish there will be a modest selection of items including warm apple cider, Skratch Hydration, water, and snacks. Parking is available in the main lot, there is an on-site bathroom, and the last quarter mile into the park is unpaved and can be affected by conditions.

Event policies include a single event price with no increases, relaxed deadlines, no fees for participant transfers or deferrals, and refunds available under stated deadlines. The Race Director may disqualify participants for abusive behavior, littering, receiving aid outside designated areas, pacing from non-participants, or course-cutting.
