The Frosty Fireman 5k takes place on January 3, 2026, at 9600 Big East Fork Rd, Franklin, TN. The event offers two race options:

  • 1 Mile Fun Run

The event is organized to raise funds for the Nashville Fire Fighters Association Foundation, which supports families of firefighters who have been killed, injured, or facing illness or hardship.

Course and event details

The course includes the section known as the "Murder Mile," a 1.1-mile loop with a 340-foot elevation gain. The route features two steep climbs, runnable sections, and a downhill through fields back to the start/finish on a wide double-track trail. The property is private and is located about 10 minutes from downtown Franklin.

Registration closes on January 2. Runners registered by December 20 are guaranteed a t-shirt; registrations after that date may experience a delay in receiving shirts. Run the Bell Ringer at Montgomery Bell State Park on December 13, 2025 and support the Friends of the Park. Scenic, rolling trails with 50K, 25K and 15K options; this cupless event requires you to bring your own bottle.

Join the Nashville Jingle Bell Trot on Dec 20 in Antioch for a festive 5K, virtual 5K, or 1K kids run along scenic Orchard Bend Park trails. Chip timing, awards, race swag and holiday costume fun all benefit The Nashville Food Project.

Run the Music City Trail Ultra in Pegram Tennessee with 50K, 25K and 12K routes starting on a family farm and winding into Cheatham Wildlife Reserve. Expect technical, steep trail and gravel sections, regular aid stations and finisher swag.

Tennessee 50 Miler on March 28, 2026 in Williamsport, TN challenges runners with a scenic 51 mile loop along the Natchez Trace Highland Rim Trail. Aid stations and a 19 hour cutoff make it a true endurance test.
