Music City Trail Ultra 2026

The Music City Trail Ultra takes place on March 7, 2026, starting from a family farm in Pegram, Tennessee. The course connects to the Cheatham Wildlife Games Reserve, a park with 20,000 acres of trails. The event offers several distances: 50K, 25K, 12K, and 12k HARDRUCK.

The terrain is a mix of single-track trails, rugged jeep trails, and gravel roads. The 50K distance is described as approximately half trail and half jeep/gravel roads. The 25K is about 65% trail, and the 12K is about 75% trail. The course is noted for being challenging, with steep trails and technical terrain. There is a 9-hour time limit for the full 50K, with specific cut-off times at aid stations. Aid stations with Gatorade, water, and snacks are located approximately every 5–6 miles.

All finishers receive an award. The event includes snacks at the start line and aid stations, water, Gatorade, and pizza and beer. A finisher's cup and a pint of Jackalope Brew are included for finishers. Packet pickup is available on race day at the race location.
