Music City Trail Ultra
Music City Trail Ultra is a trail race hosted from the HardWin family farm in Pegram, Tennessee, that crosses into the Cheatham Wildlife Management Area, roughly 20,810 acres of upland hardwood forest, open fields, gated roads, ATV trails, and gravel roads.

The course uses rough cut HardWin trail and includes technical singletrack, rugged jeep roads, and gravel. Runners will encounter creek crossings, leaf-covered rocks and roots, steep climbs and steep descents, and abundant briars that can cause cut legs. The 50K is about half trail and half road, the 25K about 65 percent trail, and the 12K about 75 percent trail. Around mile two there is a notable climb commonly called FTS Hill.
The 50K has a 9 hour overall limit with aid roughly every 5 to 6 miles. Cutoffs are enforced at the 10 mile aid (3 hours 20 minutes), 20 mile aid (6.5 hours), and finish (9 hours); participants arriving after a cutoff will be asked to drop and will receive transportation back to the start or finish. Aid stations provide water, Gatorade, and snacks.
The 12K HardRuck requires a weighted pack: over 150 lb carries 20 lb dry, under 150 lb carries 10 lb dry, with weigh in before the start and weight that cannot be removed. A results archive runs annually from 2013 through 2026. At the farm finish there is a finisher cup for finishers only, food and beer, awards for the top three men and women in each distance, and an award for every finisher.
