Frosty Cox 6-Hour Trail Race

The Frosty Cox 6-Hour Trail Race takes place in Concord, North Carolina, at 3702 Sapp Road on a private trail system. The event uses a single loop that measures 6.2 miles (10K). Each loop includes about 1,350 feet of elevation gain and is composed of 95% singletrack, 5% jeep road, and 100% dirt. The route includes a creek crossing, hardwood forest sections, and mature pine groves with multiple climbs and descents. Only full laps count toward a participant’s distance total.

Participants who complete at least one full lap receive a finisher award. Completing five laps within the 6-hour time limit earns a 50K award. Awards are also given to the top overall male and female finishers. A staffed aid station returns each loop and offers standard aid station snacks, Tailwind, and home-baked goods; hot cocoa may be available if conditions are cold.
