The Freeze Your Gizzard 5K and 1 Mile takes place on November 22, 2025 at Ida Lee Park, 60 Ida Lee Drive NW, Leesburg, VA 20176. The event marks 23 years running under the Town of Leesburg. Entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Pre-registered 5K entrants are guaranteed a long sleeve performance shirt. Refreshments follow both races.

Course and additional information
The course is cross country style with several steep hills and runs through Ida Lee Park’s 138 acres. The race starts and finishes at the gazebo at Ida Lee Park. Due to uneven terrain, dogs, wagons, and baby strollers are not allowed on the course. A water stop on course is self-serve and refillable; runners are encouraged to bring their own water bottle. The event includes a food drive: participants are asked to bring canned goods or non-perishable items for Loudoun Hunger Relief Food Bank, with drop-off available at the recreation center beginning November 1 through race day.
