Course and support

The course is 100% single-track in a hardwood forest. The route is described as rocky and technical with occasional views of Lake Perry. The course uses a 6.75-mile loop. Elevation change per loop is 752 ft ascent and 752 ft descent. Distances are run as multiple loops: 1 loop for the quarter, 2 loops for the half, 4 loops for the marathon, and 6 loops for the 40-mile.

Aid at the start/finish area is fully stocked with water, sports drink, soda, food items, and porta-potties. A remote unmanned aid station at mile 3 provides water only. Runners are advised to carry a hydration device. One drop bag is allowed for all distances except the quarter. Human pacers are allowed only for the 40-mile for the last two loops, with one pacer per runner and a signed waiver; canine pacers are allowed up to the half marathon with required paperwork. Cut-off times are enforced for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
