The Fourth of July Stampede - Wooster

The Fourth of July Stampede is a trail running event at Wooster Memorial Park in Wooster, Ohio, held on July 4, 2026. The event centers on the Education Area Parking Lot at 5197 Silver Rd and offers two distances on natural terrain.

• 5K: technical singletrack with creek crossings and climbs.
• 1 Mile: a run or walk through woods and around the field.

Registration opens May 19 and closes July 3. Entry fees are listed per distance: 5K $35.00 and 1 Mile $30.00. A portion of each entry fee is designated to The Friends Wooster Memorial Park.

Packet pickup is available July 3 at The Aid Station Running Supply, 131 N Market St, Wooster, during store hours, and on race day at Wooster Memorial Park. The first 50 registered participants receive a pair of Swiftwick Vision "Long Roads Ahead" socks provided by Renfrow Realty, with sizes allocated on a first come first serve basis at packet pickup.

All finishers receive a custom Stampede hat. For the 5K, gift cards from The Aid Station Running Supply are awarded to the top three male and female finishers.
