Bob's Big Timber Backyard Ultra is a Last Runner Standing format event held on a family farm at 12061 Township Road 252 in Glenmont, OH. The event is in its eighth year; in the seven prior editions multiple runners competed.
Trails run under an old growth timber canopy and flow around and through prairie floral across land that has been in the family for about 150 years and currently supports a seventh generation living on the homestead. The course includes day and night trails that run on and around the property.
The trails are shared with the local running community, a cross country team, and charitable organizations for fundraising events. Organizers note the venue for its hospitality and for generating high mileage among participants. Free camping and parking are available near the start and finish area.
