Organizers, purpose and amenities

The race is a collaboration of Wild Trails, the Flipper Bend Community, North Chickamauga Creek State Park, and the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy. All proceeds will go to construction and maintenance of the North Chickamauga Creek Gorge State Park (Flipper Bend) and the upper North Chickamauga Creek section of the Cumberland Trail.
