The Johnston Woods Trail Festival in Cleveland, TN is a multi-hour trail event held at 298 Brymer Creek Road. The event raises money for kid's summer camp and community programming. The course uses two loops - the blue loop and the white loop - with the parking lot between them. One lap is 4.35 miles of forested rolling hills that cross small creeks. The trail has roots and rocks and is described as runnable. Elevation gain is around 300'. Start and finish are in the field behind the Woodland Center.
A fully stocked aid station is located at the end of each lap and will offer potatoes, PB&J, fruit, chips, pickles, cookies, water, and an electrolyte drink from LMNT. Pizza and later hot food will be provided for longer distances. Rucking requires a weighted pack - male 30 lb dry, female 15 lb dry - and ruck finishers receive a patch. Registered entrants before the deadline are guaranteed a t-shirt. All finishers receive a slate coaster; top finishers receive custom slate awards and local running store gift cards.
