The Locomotion is a timed run and walk event on a flat, USATF-certified 2.00 mile loop at Camp Jordan Recreation Area in East Ridge, TN on April 24, 2027. The event offers multiple timed race options and is designated as the RRCA Tennessee Ultra Championship. It is also part of the Chattanooga Ultra Championship series, which requires participation in three specified races for overall series eligibility and awards based on accumulated mileage.

Distances available:

  • 24 hour event with plaque for 100 miles.
  • 12 hour event with plaque for 50 miles.

  • 3 hour event.

Awards include top three male and female finishers in each event, a finisher medal for all participants, special recognition for completing the distance thresholds above, and awards for breaking course records.
