Flatlander Trail Run - March 21, 2026

Flatlander Trail Run is a fixed-time trail event held in Glendale, AZ at 5486 W Pinnacle Peak Rd. The event uses a roughly 2 km (about 1.2 mile) loop at the base of Arrowhead Mountain composed mainly of single and double track. The course follows a counterclockwise direction and has about 25 feet of gain or loss per mile. The loop is described as well groomed, with some spots of soil erosion after recent rains. Course markings use orange ribbons and runners are advised to keep the ribbons to their left to follow the intended direction.

The event offers two time options, 3 hours and 6 hours, with results based on the number of completed loops within each race cutoff. A central hub serves as the course aid station as well as the start and finish area. The aid station provides water, electrolytes, gels, fruit, snacks and basic first aid, and no cups are provided. A crew and runner area is located adjacent to the aid station with space for chairs and coolers. The organizer notes there are no sponsors and no swag bags. Registration closes March 18, 2026.
