Flagstaff Crest : Overview
The Flagstaff Crest is a 39-mile trail race in Flagstaff, Arizona that runs between Fort Tuthill County Park and Heritage Square in downtown Flagstaff. The course uses sections of the Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS), the Flagstaff Loop Trail, and the Arizona National Scenic Trail. The route is point-to-point and links urban trails with higher-elevation single-track and forest roads.

- Surface distribution: approximately 69% single-track, 18% double-track, and 13% pavement.
- Total estimated elevation gain: listed as 3,033 ft (2025) and 3,964 ft in a 2024 profile. Maximum elevation is listed at 7,491 ft and minimum at 6,633 ft.
- Aid stations: four aid stations on the Flagstaff Crest course. Runners must carry their own container for refills as the event is cupless; hot cups are provided for hot drinks.
- Support limits: crews and pacers are not allowed for the Flagstaff Crest 39.
- Mandatory equipment: runners are required to carry a GPS-enabled device with the course file downloaded. Course junctions are marked with orange ribbons and WRONG WAY flagging.
