F.I.T. the Challenge OCR : Cumberland, RI

F.I.T. the Challenge OCR is an obstacle course event held on April 10, 2027 at 4097 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland, Rhode Island. The course is 3.2 miles long and includes roughly 1,000 feet of elevation and multiple on-course obstacles. Participants receive a finisher medal and a shirt. Multilap options and an ultra format are part of the event program.

The event offers several wave formats with different rules and time allowances. The Open Wave is a single timed lap. The Multilap Wave provides five hours of course time, includes the second lap in registration, and charges a fee for additional laps; lap blocks for three or more laps and numbered lap pins are provided. The Age Group Mandatory Completion wave groups participants by age for competitive, mandatory completion racing and features a podium presentation for the top three finishers in each age group once minimum finish counts are met. The Elite Mandatory Completion wave is a separate competitive mandatory completion wave. The 12 Hour Ultra gives runners 12 hours of course time to complete as many laps as possible and awards buckles to those who complete eight or more laps; ultra participants may begin their first lap in a competitive wave and continue with additional laps.

Registration for the primary competitive waves opens May 22, 2026 and closes August 1, 2026; volunteer registration windows differ. Entry fees vary by wave, with recorded fees for volunteer waves and for the 12 Hour Ultra in the event details. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
