Fire Zone 5k

The Lockport Fire Foundation hosts the second annual Fire Zone 5k, a community 5k run/walk in Lockport, Illinois. The course begins at the Hassert Park parking lot across from Lockport Township Fire Station 6 and follows a marked loop on the Forest Preserve trail, finishing back in the parking lot.

Entry is the same price for runners and walkers. The registration fee is $35.00. All participants who are registered and present on race day will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Top three finishers in each age group receive a winners pin.

Pre race packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026 at 19623 W Renwick Road, Lockport, IL. Registration opens March 20, 2026 and closes August 9, 2026.
