Course and facilities

The course is a flat trail route on good paths with no traffic, and it is described as well marshalled. There is a generous cut-off time of 45 minutes. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Race headquarters is at the Scout Hut, Reiverdale Road, Ashington, NE63 9GH, with free parking next to the HQ and number collection there. There is a 5-10 minute walk from the HQ to the race course. First aid is on site. Toilets are off site on the route from the HQ; there are no toilets at the HQ. Water is provided at the finish; there are no water stations on course. Baggage storage is available. Finishers receive a mug, sweets, crisps, water, and a medal. Main and age-related prizes are awarded. Charity and club stalls will be present on site.
