Fast Track Cross Country Open

Fast Track Cross Country Open is a 3-mile cross-country race held on November 8, 2026 at the MacNider cross country course near Hoover Elementary School in Schaumburg, Illinois. The event is open to all ages and features separate women's and men's races over the same 3-mile course. The race is included in the CARA Chicago Racing Circuit for 2026.

Limited parking is available at Hoover Elementary School, 315 N Springinsguth Rd, Schaumburg. Additional street parking is available on Amherst Drive and Colwyn Drive; parking is not allowed at the church across the street.

Packet pickup will be available before race day at Xtra Mile Running, 31 W Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, with the date and time to be announced. Race day packet pickup will also be provided at the registration area. T-shirt ordering is scheduled for early October; requested sizes may be limited after the order is placed.

An optional team competition is offered for each race. Teams must have at least four members of the same sex to score; a team’s top four runners count toward the team total while fifth and sixth runners are counted against other teams. Teams must be finalized by Friday night, November 6.

Registration opens July 3, 2026 and closes October 20, 2026; the registration fee is $25. There are no refunds, bib transfers, or deferrals. Spikes are recommended but not required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
