Falls Creek Easter Fun Run

The Falls Creek Easter Fun Run is a community trail event held in Falls Creek, Victoria on Saturday 27 April 2027. The event starts and finishes at Slalom Plaza next to the base of Haileys Comet Chairlift and is presented as a family friendly fun run with age-based categories and a participant cap of 181.

The course is 5 km with about 151 m of elevation gain. The route begins at Slalom Plaza and climbs via Wombat’s Ramble toward the aqueduct, follows Walking on Water, crosses a boardwalk and Pretty Valley Road, then links onto Turbine and Generator mountain bike trails. Near Haileys Comet chairlift the course crosses the road, drops down Broadway Ski Run and a grassy snowmobile trail through snowgums to the Big Fella water tanks. Runners continue on Orys ski run back to the aqueduct, return to Wombat’s Ramble and use Jump Start MTB trail to the finish.

Age categories are based on age at 31/12/2027 and include divisions for 10 and under, 11–16, 17–49 and 50 plus, each with male and female classifications. Bib collection is scheduled on the day and at a prior collection session at The Last Hoot. Basic first aid is available on site; advanced medical support may be some distance away. Medals and chocolates are provided at the finish. Toilets are located near 1550 and along Slalom Plaza. Spot prizes require prior registration before Good Friday and presence to claim.
