Event

The Export 100 Trail Run is a point-to-point out-and-back trail event held in Export, Pennsylvania. The course is described as 104 miles with 7,392 ft of elevation gain and a 32-hour overall cut-off. The route includes sections on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail and West Penn Trail as well as single-track sections through the Morosini Reserve, Duff Park and Pleasant Valley Park.

Course and logistics

Aid stations are located roughly every 6 to 12 miles along the route and are listed with services that include bathrooms, crew access, and either full aid or water-only stations. Most listed bathrooms are heated, except at Newport Road and Rangos. Aid stations are described as stocked with hot food, Tailwind electrolyte and typical ultra-style snacks where noted; some stations provide water only. Pacers are permitted after Mile 62 for the remainder of the race. The Westmoreland Heritage Trail and West Penn Trail are open to the public and may have bicycle traffic; the Morosini Reserve, Duff Park and Pleasant Valley Park sections are single-track and intended for foot traffic only.
