Last Trail Standing : Settlers Cabin Park

Last Trail Standing is a trail running event that uses the trail network of Settlers Cabin Park in Robinson, PA. The event offers multiple distances that all start and finish at the same shelter location, with no shuttle required. The course is mainly wooded trail and is run on a 7.75-mile point-to-point segment that is run in both directions to form a 15.5-mile loop.

Distances:

  • 50K : 31 miles, two full loops
  • 25K : 15.5 miles, one full loop
  • 8 Miler : 8 miles, out and back
  • 5K : 3.1 miles

The route is about 99% trail and includes significant elevation change for the 50K, listed as approximately 3,300 ft climb and 3,100 ft descent. The primary start/finish location is Gilbert Love Shelter and the turnaround is at Algonquin Shelter; these two points are within 100 yards of each other. Two major aid stations are located at the start/finish and the turnaround, with less than half a mile between them for easy crew viewing. For 50K runners, crew access and drop bags are available at the 15.5-mile checkpoint.

Timing is provided by a professional timing company. Finisher medals are given to all participants. Registration refunds are available through October 1, 2026. The final half-mile of each race is dedicated in memory of a local child and is marked with a sign at the half-mile-to-go. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
