Course, competition and logistics

  • 5 Mile trail race
  • 1 Mile trail walk

The 5 Mile race starts and finishes near the Grant Pavilion on Wildwood Road. The course follows hilly dirt roads and unpaved trails, includes a steep hill at about the half mile mark, moves onto single-track winding sections, and then returns on wider trails toward the finish. Coed teams of 3 to 5 people are allowed; each team must include at least one male and one female. Team scoring uses the fastest male and female times plus one additional time from the team. All team members must register individually and remain eligible for individual awards.

Participants who register by October 17 may order a hoodie for an additional fee; there is no standard race shirt included with registration. A limited number of past-year shirts will be available on race day for a small fee. Packet pick-up is available at the event site on race day. For safety, dogs, strollers, and headphones are not allowed on the full 5 Mile course. Volunteers receive a race shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
