The Moraine Regatta 5K is a timed race held on Sunday, August 2, 2026. It is part of the annual Moraine State Park Regatta at Lake Arthur. Participation supports a mission to promote eco-recreation and preserve the park's natural beauty.
Course Details
The course for 2026 is new, using the route from the Winterfest 5k. It is a 5K combination of road and trail. The race starts at the Pleasant Valley Beach area parking lot on the South Shore of Moraine State Park. The route goes onto the Sunken Garden Trail, which offers views of the lake, and returns towards the main regatta area.
Logistics
Parking is free at the Pleasant Valley Beach, South Shore parking lot. An exclusive commemorative t-shirt is offered for registrants. To guarantee a shirt in the correct size, registration must be completed by July 1st; after that date, shirts are available first-come, first-served while supplies last.
Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers in five age groups:
- 17 and Under
- 18–29
- 30–45
- 46–60
- 61+
