Event Overview

The Clipper XC Series is a four-week cross-country race series held on Wednesday evenings in the summer. The series consists of two distances run on alternating weeks.

Race Details

The events take place at the Ward Athletic Complex at Columbiana High School, located at 700 Columbiana-Waterford Rd. in Columbiana, Ohio.

  • The races on July 30 and August 13 are run on a middle school 3K course.
  • The races on August 6 and August 20 are run on a high school 5K course.

All races are chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown. According to the organizer, there were 700 registered participants in 2025. One race is held for all entrants each evening.

Registration and Awards

Participants can register for all four races together or for each week individually on-site. Packet pick-up and on-site registration occur each week before the race.

Awards are given to the top six males and females in several age divisions: Pre-Middle School, Middle School, High School, Open, Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters.
